Arghhhhh. Bad decision. It's not really a suprise that Bill Murray doesn't want to do it due to him being busy with other stuff and the fact that he doesn't get on with anyone else involved anymore but Ben Stiller? Nahh.
The original and to a slightly lesser extent, the second one is probably the finest comedy film after Withnail & I, which is more or less untouchable.
Peter: Egon, this reminds me of the time you tried to drill a hole through your head. Remember that?
Egon: That would have worked if you hadn't stopped me. |

Didn't Huey Lewis & The News do the theme to Ghostbusters II? And did it sounds suspiciously like the theme to Ghostbusters I...but different?
I can't be arsed to Google it. |

Yeah, it was beautiful.
I can't really remember the theme tune to the second one all that well.
It's uncomfortable seeing Stuart Pearce stuck in that state of unhealthy psychosis. They should have had Michael Winner approach him as he was celebrating there- "Calm down Pearce, it's just a quarter-final!" |

| Huey Lewis successfully sued Ray Parker Jr. for ripping off one of his songs for the Ghostbusters theme. |

Ohhhh. Naughty Mr Parker Jnr....I never liked him.
Yeah I heard that Huey Lewis song on a pub jukebox the other night and the good people at Ghostbusters definitely ripped it off, that's why I originally thought it might be the theme to Ghostbusters II. Obviously it's not...it's called 'I Want A New Drug' apparantly.
Interesting thing I just read online is that both that Huey Lewis song and the Ghostbusters theme both sound like rip offs of 'Pop Musik' by M.
Lawsuits all round then. |

Odd, the link didn't seem to work for me. So is Stiller set to direct is he? I used to love Ghostbusters, when I was younger, and Sigourney Weaver was one of the first women I remember thinking 'phwoar, I'm glad I'm not a feminist' about. But I recently bought them both on DVD and thought WHY? Stupid, they just seemed good then. Okay I can tolerate the first one but that's about it. I'm going to get ripped apart for this I know it. Bring it on.
Also, in my opinion, The Cable Guy is a great film and it's a shame Stiller didn't get the praise he deserved. I love it. |

Nah, they're talking about Stiller taking the place of Bill Murray.
I like The Cable Guy. I don't think it's great but for me to like it, it's done well considering that I find Jim Carey to be offensively unfunny in almost everything he does. |

Sounds good to me.

Keep talking like that and we're going to fall out (did we ever really fall in?). |
