Watched this tonight. Not very easy or relaxing viewing for a Friday night but a very very good film nontheless. In a lot of ways it's a very grim portrayal of early 80's England. Extremely good performance by the young lad playing the lead character who I believe had never acted in anything before (not even a school play).

Fantastic.

It was so grim that Mrs Chappo and I had to watch a comedy DVD to balance it out before we went to bed.
