As soon as you've searched for any name, the person you searched for gets an email saying that you searched for them. And apparently you don't even have to be signed up because you get signed up automatically, it's ridiculous.

Yeah, basically I don't know how it does it but it seems to have most of the universe on its website, and if I searched for someone and there name matched, it would email everyone on the database with that name, informing them of the name and email of the person whos searched for them. Basically for the 2 years I was at 6th form, stalking this girl, she was receiving emails weekly informing her that I was typing her name into thenamesdatabase. Obviously I didn't know this was happening.

And there was an incident on a boat with me drinking lots of vodka, attempting to kiss her, and getting slapped then falling unconscious and vomiting soon after.

I thought she was the one.

She was clearly a twat. She told me that everyone knew you liked her but it was common knowledge she didn't like you...why did you think she did?

There's someone from my secondary school who I've searched for loads but never found. I can only assume they don't use the Internet that much and I hope they never do, or their email will be packed up with DANIEL JAMES DENNIS TALBOT IS LOOKING FOR YOU and that might not be so great.

Today I fell in mini-love. This girl sat next to me and was very, very nice. She was really pretty but she clearly didn't know it, she looked awkward in her own skin. She's one of me! etc. I didn't get the courage to speak to her but she did ask me a question about the computers and I answered efficiently but was too nervous to quip a wit at her. Fuck.

I'm really confident around girls I hate, that's the worst thing. Still, what have we learnt from this?

Yeah, I had a really annoying moment a few weeks ago involving a girl. I left college and was sitting at the bus stop, when this really pretty girl came over. She smiled at me, but it sort of took me by surprise so I just looked away. She sat next to me and there was total silence for about 20 minutes until finally the bus arrived. I got on and sat about half way up, and she sat pretty much opposite me, with her body twisted facing me, and her legs on the chair, which was weird. I wanted to speak to her, but I wasn't sure if she was inviting me into conversation or was just a bit nutty. About 30 seconds before my stop was due, she pulled out a heavy metal magazine and started reading an interview with "In Flames" ... one of my favourite bands! I was livid. Its rare enough to find someone in my town that listens to Metal, let alone one thats attractive. She looked like a normal pretty girl, and shared one of my musical interests! She was quite perfect. Unfortunately my stop arrived, and I had to get off (buses are so rare over here) :( As the bus rode off, she just stared at me through the window, until it was out of sight.

I saw a girl on my bus today who was...I mean, I literally just wanted to snog her...I mean...I mean...long dark hair...I think she was wearing a waitress outfit as well. And don't tell me you weren't staring at me as I got off the bus...I know you were, I could see from the corner of my eye...

....yeah, maybe I'm just a notable ugly bastard..

In 10 days I'm going to live with my grandmother and step grandad on a farm which is a retirement home for old people. I don't think I could win this competition without breaking some sort of law.
