my return flight is on may the 2nd. it's about 3 cunting months! i'm livid to be honest. my relatives bought the ticket without telling me and gave it to me as a birthday present, so i couldn't complain. the flights are ridiculous too. i have to catch 3 planes. i've got an 8 hour stop off at san francisco, and a 6 hour stop off at sydney, just so i can catch a 30 minute flight to brisbane. can't leave the airport though. all in all i'll be travelling for about 2 days solid. good thing i have a video mp3 player now.

i should go to my old college and surprise that dutch girl. she'll have absolutely no idea who i am.

I still don't really understand why you have to go. Even if your aunt (or whoever it is) is pissed off that you rejected the tickets, that's got to be better than spending three months in Ozmania.

Having said that, I want to hear more stories about desperate Australian girls, you being nearly killed by freak weather and presumably some dad anecdotes. I bet he'll be glad to see you again.

my mum is all excited about seeing me again. it'd break her heart if i told her i'd rather sit indoors playing world of warcraft for 3 months, than face my family again. plus my nan has booked a 2 month holiday to spain at the same time, so she has the "we don't want you left on your own for that long" excuse to force me to go. on the plus side though, 12 weeks isn't THAT long. once it's over, i'm sure it won't have seemed that bad. i predict the first week or so will be alright, and everybody will be all nice to me, then it'll be sort your fucking life out, get a job, etc. i've had to pack my dvds into cases and wallets, which is a fucking nightmare. it took me ages. and i have to start wearing shorts again, grr. i'll have to use a 56k connection as well, so i'll basically not have the internet for 3 months.

this happened about an hour from where my family live. i'm terrified. i fucking hate sharks.

Hell yeah you have, and so have I!!!...last I heard Billy almost was killed by sharks off some barrier reef in Australia...and I think he was studying to be a gardener if I remember correctly (damn Aussies...putting up immigration barriers...)...and what - now he's in love with a Dutch girl?

Been there done that! (ok, not a girl, and not Dutch...but foreign men, who live abroad...yeah life sucks...I feel your pain).

it didn't go well. that's all in the past though, i'm back in england now! and working full time.

Yeah, girls, and Dutch? Well the way my track record is lately maybe I should look into other women...hell, they'd be more loyal, caring, reliable, probably wouldn't devastate me nearly as badly...we could have a nice home together, bake cookies, sit by the fire, take walks together in the evenings...hmmm.....she'd have to blonde though I think. I think I'd want a blonde...so maybe Dutch would work!!! :D

Actually, there was this one blonde waitress that told me I was "the most beautiful woman she had ever seen, and she sees a lot of people as a waitress" - ok, I was with two guys at the time, having drinks, was she hitting on me? I thought she was just being objective!!! LOL! And trust me, I'm not all that, but maybe I was just her type...hmmm....
