So for me, those Bourne films, Pan's Labyrinth, (I'd like to say Pirates of the Carribbean but enough people I know know how bad it is) are films that somehow are massively rated by everyone except me.
I'm not saying they're bad films, for ones that I do think are pants there are always others, but they are just average.
It's not just me is it? |

Wow, yes.
This was also on at the festival, the first film, I came in early for the one after and can't believe how popular it is. Load of big meaningless toss with some good fights but not enough. |

| To be honest, I probably find the fight scenes even more tedious than the relentlessly ongoing dialogue that somehow manages to say so little with so many words. I just find action scenes in general quite boring, and I think I'm quite alone on that. I always hear people say "oh it was shit, but there were some great action scenes" but bleh. A car exploded driving into a cow swallowing a vortex. Fascinating. |

Someone was trying to remember a film the other day, and I picked up it was the sci-fi wondertale that is sphere, then made a joke about how I'd been tricked into admitting I'd seen sphere.
The other guy said he quite liked it, but I wasn't going to back down, oh no. |
