You may have heard but they're doing a cover of Barbie Girl, and I spent a couple of days working on the video!
Before you ask, I wasn't around to see the twins twat about in the set we built of largely pink rooms with entirely pink furnishings, but I did pop by late last night (and not to kill everyone involved as I had promised).
Just by chance I overheard a producer complaining about the playback of the track and how they didn't have the version with the computer enhanced voices - ie they had to listen to the twin's actual singing ability. He was very annoyed about this.
This single has enough "oh they haven't have they?" to not disappear without trace, but we can hope. |

Same week as Babyshambles and 50 Cent it's released, isn't it?... Ha ha.. Top 5 most likely, don't think Big Brother has the appeal for a number one though.
You're working a lot thesedays, aren't you Elliott? |

| Yes, but in Elliott's line of work, which I presume, is freelance, it must be quite competitive to get work all of the time, but he seems to be doing alright? |

Why on earth would you want to be their mate? I actually have no idea who Eugene is.
But Jon Tickle? He's fine in heavily edited, snappy highlights but to spend an unfiltered day with the man would be hell.
People who go on Big Brother, are by definition, not worth knowing. They might be nice people but come on, have some fucking aspirations. |

i've thought that about him for years. it's why i love him.
i love jon tickle. do you remember (veteran WHoggers should) when i made that website, savejontickle.tk? i got asked to appear on RI:SE one morning to rally up support for him regarding his upcoming eviction. i didn't go, and he was eviction.
the guilt still haunts me. |

That's obvious, surely.
But I stand by all that. I'm not a grumpy misanthrope, but come on, how can you feel anything other than contempt for a large portion of people from our generation? Nobody wants to be anybody. |

I work in the art dept, and get things quite often as I know a few production designers who quite often need someone they can trust to turn up on time and not make silly mistakes, even if he has no real background in art.
That said, a lot of it isn't that greatly paid, and I am thinking about getting some temp work just to have money again. If I wasn't living at home I'd definitely not be able to survive.
Also Jon Tickle was awesome, and dan you would so love to be in big brother it's not funny. |
