Well fuck me who'd have thought England would still in with a chance at qualifying after today!?
We're such jammy bastards and I must admit I'm loving it.
I'm not at all a fan of McClaren or a lot of the players at the moment but I'll still be delighted if we do qualify.
We don't deserve to qualify we don't even deserve this second chance....but fuck it I'm happy for now. If I had any friends I'd be out getting pissed with them tonight.
And what is it with the Scots on 606 telling the England fans to "get behind their team like we do with our team" and yet when we do get behind them we're all of a sudden labelled "the most arrogant fans in football"
Actually it'll be a lot sweeter to qualify when we don't deserve too I reckon.
Please don't fuck it up on Wednesday, I'm having to day off to watch it! |

| listening to scotland italy on five live was hilarious. The angry scot commentator just gave up being remotely impartial and come the end seemed to forgot that italy should have won 2-0 not 2-1. |

That said, if Russia can't be the Israeli reserve team, they don't deserve to either, so yeah, here's to a dull 0-0 with Croatia! |

i agree with the general opinion here. england need a sharp kick up the arse and failing to qualify might cause people to realise this, but then again major championships just aren't the same without the media hype england being involved brings around, so i'm not sure. need to get mclown out, fo' sho'. |

I never saw the game in the end. I was out seeing Dinosaur Jr and Shonen Knife and getting completely drenched in rainy Buffalo, NY tonight. I fully expected to come home and find out we'd held onto a 0-0 or sneaked a 1-0...but bloody hell not to lose 2-3 AT HOME!

well mclaren is gone. every cloud and that.
england need a major fucking shakeup, to be honest. i hope they get a decent manager this time because mclaren had barely achieved enough to warrant being a premiership manager, let alone a fucking international one. |
