|
|
yeah so question: would I be able to just live in heathrow airport for 24 hours? it's for my precious art.
I'll want to walk from the entrace around the entire building and then back out the entrance (or if there's an exit near it) in 24 hours exactly. So I'll be walking very, very slowly...does anyone know if this would be even possible without a ticket? and will i get tased to fuck for being a terrorist. |

technically you can stay there forever but security will realise you're loitering and probably overreact. you can go pretty far in without a ticket. the pace you'd be walking at would be very very slow and probably attract a fair bit of attention. i would not recommend it.
airports rule though |

I wonder if i have a word with the manager or something. i could tell him it'll be on display in a gallery (it won't be...well, probably not) and that's bound to be good for ...PR or something. |

| course you can stay in heathrow for 24 hours, it's a huge airport. but without a ticket you'll be very bored and you might aswell just go do it in a shopping center. |

| yeah but i want it to be an airport. people have a sense of contextual direction in a supermarket, but an airport is like a directionless time warp. plus all the ambiance yada yada |

| Heathrow is exciting... but airports like Stanstead and all of the Milan ones (ESPECIALLY) are absolutely horrible. Oh god, Milan's airports are the most depressing places ever. |
