sitting here, the fucking house shakes like i'm on a bouncy castle, glass of water falls off the desk OVER IN FIVE SECONDS.
christ england, fuck off with your boring weather. if you're gonna snow, blizzard, if you're gonna rain, STORM and if you're gonna earthquake fucking crack divisive craters of fiery hell, don't nudge the sea and giggle.
see! i got excited for a very short moment. it must have been much scarier to have been down on the pavement when it happened because then you KNOW it isn't the washing machine vibrating/house foundations failing.
all it's done is make me angry! it's reminded me how boring our weather is. |

I felt it but had no idea it was an earthquake.
Nothing exciting this far south, just the desk wobbling (it's a wobbly desk anyway) and an odd feeling it was the house a bit as well. The big lorry driving past that people oft describe summed it up quite well.
Funny thing, put on news to find out, earthquake just before 1, sky news mentioned it by about 1.15, bbc completely ignored it.
Decidedly dull, but I'm glad I don't live in an earthquakey place. |
