I've been making t shirts cos I was bored. So I bought some iron on transfer paper and plain t shirts, nicked some images from t'interweb and got the old iron out.
They came out better than I thought they would:
The thing is now I'm running out of ideas for more designs. I want to do something original next time and not just use images I found online. It's hard when you literally have unlimited possibilities of things to put on a shirt. Text or graphics. Anyone any ideas...? |

I was thinking of a Collymore one actually.
I have a signed poster of him that I got in his Forest days that would look shit-hot on a shirt. Unfortunately it's in my parents attic back in England at the moment. :(

last time i tried those iron on print things they were rubbish. it would come out in bits with some colours weaker than others.
i've just spent £20 on sequens and mamegoma stickers. please don't look that up, you will think less of me. |

Hmmm.....you can't try to be witty on a T-shirt...that hand has been played to death. No, whatever motto/design/statement you want to make, has to just be front and center. In fact, the mindset one has to have while making the shirt must be one of pure, and unencumbered honesty. That way it lacks cynicism which will transcend forth into the shirt itself...
So that being said, I think whatever image best expresses your mood at the time is best. Think Catcher in the Rye...but on a T. Nothing phony.
I think that's why I feel real endearment towards those folks that wear their "Layeth the Smaketh Downeth" shirts and things like that with no sense of irony...truly...these are the greats of the world, no?
