Just came across this Beatles mash up type of thing online and got curious:

Ladies and gentlemen, a brand-new Beatles album. Sort of.

It's called Mutation and it's basically me playing Mad Audio Scientist with assorted Beatles recordings, using sampling, editing, effects-processing and other studio finaglery to create something new from strands of classic Beatles DNA. (Hence the title, with apologies to all you anti-GMO crusaders out there).

It's doesn't always work but it's worth a listen if you've got the time. 'Fabtasia' is probably the best thing on it. 'Love From Abbey Road' and the 'Assault On Pepper" aren't bad either

There is also a mash up between Sgt Pepper and Pet Sounds out there that goes under the name 'The Beachles' - so Google that if you want to check that out (it's also torrented on Demonoid). I heard bits of it and it didn't really do anything for me - but the guy that made it is in trouble with EMI for it so you might want to hear what all the fuss is about.
