No, but it might lead to doing a video for Jason Mraz, who is really big in the states. These guys have supported him a lot.

Wow.

Actually made a really fun low budget music vid with a platinum selling artist!

It's a UK version of a single he's got coming out, which mean the record guys were happy with something not amazingly polished and filmed on many tropical islands round the world. Knowing Jason Mraz had done that made the crew of five people and a camera seem a little on the small side, but hey, whatever they want you know?

So as Mr Mraz is a bit famous, you'll all be pleased to know he's a totally chilled and nice guy. Cos I hadn't really heard of him I wasn't being awkward around him, which can always happen with famous peeps, and we were soon making jokes about how the entire video should just be him sitting on a toilet or the camera following some ducks (we were filming on the thames).

It was an awesome day's filming - the idea was Jason having a bit of writer's block, and doing lots of silly things around the houseboat, yes houseboat, until finally finding inspiration outside amongst nature and that.
Jason was up for pretty much anything we thought of - I never thought I'd end up helping him selotape a pen to one hand and a pad to another so he could wave the two together like a madman, but so it goes.
We had screwed up balls of paper all over the place, all meant to be rejected lyrics, and I had to make a "paper man" out of these balls of paper. Best moment of the day was when Jason took it with him when he left.

Overall, another famous folk turns out to be loads nicer than they have to be, and I'll finally have worked on something on youtube that will have 000s+ views!

When you make a music video, obviously you're shooting in time to the track for a lot of it, and I can say the song I did easily passed the "can you listen to it 50+ times in one day" test.

Next up is Broadcast 2000 if any of yo indie kids have heard of em Very Happy
