Prince is not just suing The Pirate Bay, he's actually mainly threatening three of the biggest and best Prince fansites. These are sites that are run by groups of fans and they have been established for some time. They run Prince news stories etc and have active forums. Prince objects to the fact that these websites have his image on them...album covers, fan taken photos from concerts and even photos of people's tattoos that are inspired by him. In short he's acting extremely petty and paranoid...which he seems to do every so often. Twat. "How to alienate your complete fanbase in one fell swoop" I think Rolling Stone magazine called it.

So the fans have formed www.princefansunited.com (PFU) to make a stand against Prince and his lawyers. My favourite message to Prince on the site that was left by one fan was "Lick my purple balls!" :)

So today Prince contacts the above website and sends them a new 7 minute track called "PFUnk" in response to the all the messages that were left on there. The lyrics show that he's still pissed at his own fans. But the thing is that the track itself rocks like a good 'un....it's probably the best thing he's done for 10 years. So obviously the way to get him to make some decent music again is the get him all pissed off so he runs back into the studio to work out his angst.

I've about had it with the little prick really. Shame.
