i'm only 4 episodes in and i've just literally jizzed myself with excitement watching the latest episode on bbc2. i'm doing all i can to stop myself watching the next one on bbc3 right now because i want to watch it next week, but god it's just so fucking great.

jesus. i watched the episode '5 years later' last night (when hiro and andos go to the future and meet future hiro) and it might actually be the single greatest episode ever of anything i've seen. it blew my mind! there's about 3 episodes left of the series i think. it's just so fucking cool.

I think it's wank but Mrs Chappo loves it. It's only a matter of time before it descends to "Lost" style we don't respect our audience and just keep churning out the episodes even though any semblance of a plot has disappeared standard I reckon. Personally I'm hoping that this writer's strike kills it off now. I'm fucking sick of it.

they reckon there's going to be at least 3 series so you're probably right. deadwood managed to remain excellent for 3 series though, so who knows!

I was a bit harsh on the old Heroes there really, I don't hate it ..I'm just not all that interested in it. But I do think that they will eventually flog the whole thing to death and people will start to turn off. But maybe they will stop it after 3 series and it will be remembered fondly.

haha. he is legendary. from the little you've told us about mrs chappo, i could totally see her and masi reading anime and cosplaying together.

It seems ok, but I am intensely annoyed, not at the show, but for the people watching it who aren't annoyed at a character being called 'hiro'.

Just me? I mean that is naff right?

I agree there Elliott, and as it's Mrs Chappo's favourite character I feel it is my duty to point that naffness out to her on a regular basis.
