I'm loving the fact that he is back at Newcastle.

Not because I care about Newcastle FC or think he's a good manager. But it'll definitely liven up the Prem that's for sure, and it'll be like travelling back in time to 1996 surely the best year in recent memory.

i think it's a ridiculous decision but he'll certainly bring some humour to the premiership. every one of those quotes are pure gold dynamite.

newcastle are a fantastic club and have fantastic fans and the highest of aspirations but in reality in the back of our heads we know that actually we've got no fucking chance of ever attaining any respectable silverware and so if we haven't got the chance in hell of achieving that then at least we can play exciting, attacking football and at least be taken on a rollercoaster every season instead?.. people forget that when kevin keegan took over newcastle we were in the second division, within four years we'd finished second in the premier league. not bad going for a club, is it?... in the mean time playing some of the exciting football and involved in some of the best matches seen in the premiership's history.... the two 4-3's with liverpool, beating man utd 5-0, tottenham 7-1 just before keegan walked.. he was not only our Saviour but also our fucking God too... considering the magic he'd worked when he played for us previously in his footballing career.. he was a man who understood the passion of the club and loved it like his only son... he brought in some great players: can you doubt the signings of andy cole (and when we all thought he'd made the biggest mistake ever to sell him to man utd only for him then to give us ferdinand & shearer?!)..rob lee...asprilla..ginola...just a few fan favourites and whilst keegan didn't seem to care too much that as long as we scored one more than the other team had (thanks to our piss poor defence which continues to haunt us until today), for me, it was the most amazing time of my football watching life... keegan means everything to the toon. my dad says that meeting keegan outside st james park randomly one day was the happiest day of his life. it's something lodged up there in my memories, too. he's a legend and already st james park has a new air of optimism and hope around it that you could even credit for our 4-1 (with ten men) thrashing of stoke city last night (considering a week before we were playing like a second division team against one of the best in the first).. that's what our club needs: would harry redknapp have brought such an immediate level of excitement to the club? god no. would houllier? no. hughes? no. none of these managers can live up to the pure hype that keegan brings to newcastle united. and while in six months i'm sure things will be a very different sight... it's another rollercoaster i'm all buckled up to travel on. i cannot wait... as a newcastle fan - even as a neutral or even a rival fan, you can't wait to have keegan back on our television screens, surely?.. one of the most charismatic and passionate footballers and managers to ever have graced the game...indeed..
