I'm sure this is the most screwed up show right now. It's like survivor & the twilight zone. |

I bloody love Lost. I can't wait for series 3. There are so many questions I want answering and the producers have promised that everything will eventually be resolved. Episode 1 of Series 2 was literally the greatest thing ever. After the show I turned and look at my brother and he actually said "W...T...F"
True story.
Favourite character? Sawyer, obviously. _________________ Carlton Palmer doing his impression of a man with brain damage |

To be fair if you haven't watched it from the first episode, or at least seen the first episode then it won't make any sense. I can see why people wouldn't like it though. It really does annoy you sometimes. Its not just the show though. There are loads of websites created by the producers that give answers and hints as to where everything is heading. The cast drop little hints on talk shows etc as well. Its just a bit mess of numerology and bizarre flashbacks. Its class. _________________ Carlton Palmer doing his impression of a man with brain damage |

| yeah I think they ended season 2 in a rather odd way, but season 3 will most likely be just as confusing as the rest. I thought it was weird that the guy who sahjid (spell?) spoke to when he was in the armed forces, was the same guy who was in the hatch with desmond, it made things really odd. |

Absobloodyexactly! I literally cannot believe that all these coincedences are going to piece together but the creators have promised they will. The Hurley flashbacks are mental. Libby, etc. And Ana-Lucia being Jacks fathers bodyguard. Sawyer meeting him as well. Argh! _________________ Carlton Palmer doing his impression of a man with brain damage |

| Yeah but what about Desmond and then the last clip at the end of season 2.. I mean...WTF? seriously? Who is still alive? It's all mental. I mean, how will the show continue without Locke? and what about Echo?! |

I dunno. I think Locke and Eko are alive. I reckon they legged it off to one of the other bunkers. They must've realized something when all that stuff was happening. The producers have promised 5 series though so somehow they are going to have to bring new characters, I'm sure of it. Kelvin left the army and joined Dharma so I suppose it stands to reason that he'd be on the island, but what Dharma are actually all about, I've no idea. :( Season 3 is starting in september, and the producers have said its going to have more romance in it. It sounds like they are going to avoid giving any answers again! But I'm really intrigued to find out about the woman who was looking for Desmond, and what part her father plays in it all. It seems as if all the characters have been put on the island together on purpose. All of there backgrounds fuck up, and lead them to get on that flight. It'd just be to coincedental otherwise. _________________ Carlton Palmer doing his impression of a man with brain damage |

| Yeah that's pretty much it, but it's still so bizarre and it keeps you going. Lots of intrigue, although I don't even think the writers themselves know what's going on in that crazy story of theirs. |

i'm just going to give this a little bump because i've discovered a site that has a quite interesting theory on lost, and backs it up pretty well. if you like lost or hate it because there's too much cockteasing you might enjoy reading it http://www.timelooptheory.com/index.htm _________________ Carlton Palmer doing his impression of a man with brain damage |

I have neither the time, nor the inclination, to devote, to a show like Lost...so you're telling me you need to visit websites and pay attention to actors' little hints and what not in order to get a full picture of how this will all wrap up???
It's the X-files all over again - but overexposed and marketed to hell that's what I say!!!
You honestly think they know where they're going with this script? To the bank, that's where they're going. They're gonna milk this sh*t 'till the ends of the Earth as long as it's producing bank. Oh and when it starts to fade (about 5-6 years from now), they'll wrap it up as a "dream sequence" or some such crap.
TRUST ME.
All that being said, if I had /Tivo I'd probably watch it. _________________ Android thus disabled... |

Delph has hit the nail on the head.
Lost looked promising at first but you could tell quite early on that they hadn't got a clue where they were going with the storyline. If it had any respect for it's audience it would have finished after two seasons and maybe have been remembered as a credible drama. Now it's a bit of a joke to be honest. It's taking the piss...you can almost feel the contempt it has for it's viewers permeating through the screen as they squeeze every last bit of advertising revenue from it.
Mind you, a lot of shows have gone the same way. Does anyone still watch 24 for instance? Is it still even on? I have no clue. These shows are hyped and wildly popular for about 6 months and then suddenly no-one cares.
It's rare that you get something like The Sopranos that sustains interest and quality for a number of years. _________________ "For all his horses, knighthoods and championships, he hasn't got two of what I've got. And I don't mean balls!" |
