The music vid I did last November, (guy gets dumped, jumps off a cliff) was one that due to poor planning on my part I had to edit in one night.

I spent last week doing a proper edit, and though most of the changes are radical, there's a couple you'll notice.

Wow....hmmm....I like the video...(is that the same guy from that other one where he dances? It looks like it - right?) - the song is ok...actually I think it needs to be pulled together more...it's a bit schizophrenic....but the band has potential...drumming is really good!

Ta very much, both of ya.

I learnt loads doing this, mainly about how editing to the beat is the key to making a music vid! (although my fave moments are the times when i've left the longer shots in)
There's a chance it'll end up on one of the obscure MTV channels, I'll be emailing everyone in my address book if I end up on telly - if only cos youtube don't do a lot of it justice!

Nice vids. Both of them.

Elliott - Really good job you did there. Like the very start with the movement of the camera from the bloke to the clock and back again. And the sync of the saw noise with the saw in the video. Bit of a Quadrophenia feel to the end as well with the cliff etc. Nice one! It's a deceptively catchy song as well.

Ronnie - Really like the song. Sounds a bit like early Adam & The Antz when they were punk. Video has a touch of "Bittersweet Symphony"about it and looks like the reaction of the people on the street is real. Must take some balls to freak out in the street like that! :)

there are bits that never made the final edit including when i sang the entire song walking through about forty school kids just fresh out of school. that was a little terrifying..
