i met bradley from s club 7 last year at a club. he wasn't allowed into the VIP area and drunkenly, i went up to him and said, "oh, i remember watching you on tv when i was a kid." and he thought i meant the MTV band thing he did. and i said, "no no, s club tv.." to which he looked very embarrassed and started apologising profusely about it saying he was just a "little shit" then. somehow we managed to knick a bottle of vodka from him in the process, too. he didn't look happy. but then the club was about to close, anyway. did anyone watch that mtv program he was in? it was awful.

Nice trip down memory lane for me last night when I logged onto Hedislimane. com to find that the soundtrack on his website to his new "Liberation" exhibition which features Kate Moss looking the best she has done for years is actually a live recording of Littl'ans playing "Our Way" at The Highlander in Paris.

This show was the official after-party for the Dior Home S/S07 collection show and was also held on Hedi's birthday, too. So it was a double celebration and even a certain Mr. Mick Jagger was spotted dancing in the crowd somewhere.

It was one of the best nights of my life, and also paved the way for one of the happiest and exciting years I'll ever experience too. A very special night: July 4th 2006 and makes me feel quite sad how different things are now, today. Back then, everything felt perfect. I met my ex girlfriend then and that show led the way for the band and myself to encounter many many many amazing opportunities..

I don't know if this is a nod to me or anything, but there's a particular shot where Kate Moss is holding a star shaped tambourine..... perhaps a little arrogant of me to hope so (but others have said the same to me) but on the soundtrack the tambourine (which is so horribly out of time) pretty much overpowers all other sounds.... it's a nice thought, so I'm sticking with it..
