It was a good film, it's actually got a really sad ending for a kids comedy-lite film. Infact, on retrospect, Mr Bean is a really confusing/sad character. He clearly lives alone in his flat with only a teddy for company but he also appears to be mentally retarted in some way. I suppose they never did show the episode where his social worker came around.

That reminds me, there's an advert for social workers and a bloke is helping somebody who's clearly mentally disabled cook his breakfast and helping him out and he calls him Elliott. Now, I only know one Elliott so it's very funny. I don't know why, it shouldn't be but I imagine that it's THE Elliott.

I used to borrow the Mr Bean videos weekly from my local video shop when I was a kid. Always including a note saying "Please Rewind Fully after use".

Anyway... We used to have a ball pool at my local McDonalds when I was a kid (remember them?) They were great fun until the 'chav generation' arrived and they had to get rid of it for health and safety reasons. Rolling Eyes

I suppose my best party as a kid has to be my 6th at the local village hall. It was a traditional 'pin the tail on the donkey' affair. Christ I had a lot of friends then! ( Confused ) I still have it on video somewhere - my parents went through a 'camcorder' phase in the early nineties.(no...nothing blue!). We also played a game of musical chairs to music by.. Jason Donovan...well he was all the rage then.

The "chav generation" as you put it only exists in your own Daily Mail reading head. "Chavs" have always existed, trust me. I grew up in a rubbish part of Bristol and my sisters who were teenagers at the time hung around with tons of what you'd call chavs these days and at the youth club I went to, that's all you saw, "chav" types. I'm just saying, don't let the media munipulate you into thinking there's some kind of anti-social youth epidemic when there isn't. Well, there might be but it's nothing new.

Bristol,....Vicky Pollard.... Wink

Ok, ok, I'm just stating that its a sign of the times. "chavs" were never branded that years ago.

They had to get rid of the ball pool due to a change in health and safety regulations.

Argh! Exactly, they were never given that tag years ago but that doesn't change anything! It's just our culture developing further into this obsession to put everybody into a box and mark them accordingly. The government play along with all this ASBO shit that's sold to the press as some kind of anti-biotic to chavs when a similar scheme to combat youth crime would have been implemented at multiple stages throughout the social decline of this country, the government just spins it in their favour which only fuels the papers.

How old are you? I clearly don't know anything but I thought the generation X thing was a late 80s/early 90s thing?
