The Iceman just played his final game for us, at our new stadium. I remember coming out of school in 1995, and my dad telling me teletext had announced we'd spent 7.5million on Dennis. I saw him at Highbury not long afterwards, and he changed the way Arsenal played football and personified the support striker role in the Premiership.

The testimonial was amazing. To see the likes of Cruyff, Van Basten, Ian Wright, Dixon, Winterburn, Bould, Keown, Vieira, Henry, Davids, Rijkaard and the De Boer brothers on the same pitch was a once in a lifetime occasion.
