Yep, they are playing here tonight in sleepy old Rochester on their pre season tour.
I just walked into a pub full of drunken Wednesday fans wearing my Forest shirt....I honestly forgot they were here and never thought about what I was wearing.
They were all really nice though. One of them told me that me walking in there in a Forest shirt was "balls out, the bravest thing I've ever seen" LOL
It's funny though to see a load of boistereous football fans here chanting and the like...the locals don't seem to be appreciating it at all. It's going to be fun to see how the soccer moms and their offspring react to some of the swearing. "Soccer" is marketed as a family game over here and most of the crowd is made up of parents and kiddies. This will be fun!!!! :twisted:

I'm actually a Wednesday 'fan', although since 2000 I've used the term very very loosely. We're a nice bunch, except for the OCS (The 'Owls Crime Squad' for those not in the know) who have something of a viking "pillage and plunder" mentality. Way things are going we'll be back in the top flight by the time I'm, ooh.... 80?

As long as you're 79 that shouldn't be a problem.
