What a waste.
But I suppose he'll be making some big money there and Posh can go shopping on Rodeo Drive as and when she likes.....every day I'd imagine.
I for one would have loved to see him back in the Prem at least for a few years.
I think we can definitely say that his England career is over now. _________________ "For all his horses, knighthoods and championships, he hasn't got two of what I've got. And I don't mean balls!" |

i couldn't have seen him coming back over here to be honest. he's just such a big name that the idea of him playing for someone like man city is ludicrous, and the only teams challenging for trophies are ones he probably wouldn't join due to his man utd past. he'll live like a fucking king over there though, they love him & posh don't they? i'd just retire if i was him. it's not as if he needs the money, and he'll have plenty of other job offers going _________________ Carlton Palmer doing his impression of a man with brain damage |

Yeah...you're probably right there Billy.
To be honest with the quality of football in the MLS he has effectively retired. He'll absolutely coast the league on autopilot, and all for almost a million dollars a week! Easy money; and that's not including any sponsorship deals he'll pick up, which in the USA will be numerous and hugely paid.
Posh will love it in Hollywood, I can see them living in Beverly Hills actually...it's built for women like her - Talentless and living off the old fellas money.
You never know I might even be able to get to see him play while he's here! Hope so anyway. I'll get autographs for you all :) _________________ "For all his horses, knighthoods and championships, he hasn't got two of what I've got. And I don't mean balls!" |

I saw him on Newsround (yeah that's right, I watch Newsround - deal with it) saying "Oh I know people will be saying 'he's just doing it for the cash' but I'm not! I genuinely want to raise the profile of soccer in the states!"
'course you do, Davey-poos. |

Newsround is the bollocks.
Wish they'd bring Craven back though. _________________ "For all his horses, knighthoods and championships, he hasn't got two of what I've got. And I don't mean balls!" |
