Forest just can't seem to take advantage of the other teams around us dropping points. 2 games over easter and just 1 point to show for it.

Looks like it's the playoffs for us then. I need to get a higher dose of my blood pressure medication.

I thought that being over 3000 miles away might make football supporting easier to bear...but it's worse if anything. I was listening to todays game on headphones at my desk at work and probably freaking my fellow cubicle dwellers out as I was "kicking every ball" and "oohing and ahhing" throughout the game. At least if I was at home I could go for a post match pint and have a moan with my mates. They all think I support "Capital One" over here. Evil or Very Mad

id love to see forest back in the prem, theyre one of my fave clubs. getting out of league one, then the championship is bloody hard work though. you wanna get yourself one of those american takeovers, everybodies at it these days. get that nutter who stalked you and some other mates to put some money in, youll be laughing.

Whats the buzz like around beckham in the US? youre on the wrong side of the country arent you, but is there any reaction at all?

There is a fair bit of excitement to Beckham here actually. Rochester has quite a healthy "soccer" scene. The Rochester team is in the League below the MLS. There is no promotion or relegation between the leagues....you have to be invited up to the MLS and Rochester feels like it deserves a shot at it cos it gets relatively good attendences (12 - 14 ,000 per game) etc etc...

I'd like to see Beckham while he plays here though. The nearest MLS team to us is Toronto and I hear that the tickets to the game v LA Galaxy are already sold out. So it shows you that he will shift some tickets. Not sure how long the novelty will last though.

Yeah...would be nice to see Forest go up although I do feel that we are a Championship team and no more. To be honest I'd be quite happy to get up to the Championship and stay there. Fuck the Premiership....that has lost it sppeal to me. It's expensive and seems pretty boring from the games I've seen this season. And I wouldn't really like to see any yanks take over and turn us into the "Nottingham Reds" or anything like that ...as seems to be the fashion these days.

Having said that though if we DID ever get back to the Premier I probably wouldn't be moaning....

Don't bother with the premiership. It's rubbish. Infact, don't even look at the league table.

people seem to be more excited about posh being here and shopping on rodeo drive than anything else!
