come on lads, let's have a discussion about the upcoming premiership season. will torres be the new morientes? will spurs overspending once again amount to absolutely nothing? can west ham, man city, aston villa or newcastle break the top 4 with their new owners?

i'm gonna put some bets on this season. eduardo da silva at 25/1 for top scorer isn't a bad punt, he's scored a fucking shitload of goals in his own league and internationally.

i've set us up another fantasy premier league. it's fantasy.premierleague.com and the code is 60245-16111

here's my team. i reckon it's shit hot. subject to change based on pre season performance/injury, natch.

Has the bastard tennis finished yet? I'm sick of Neighbours not being on because the people at Wimbledon haven't worked out that if they put the cover over the roof instead of over the court, the players can continue the game.

Actually the first part and the second part of that sentence are entirely separate grievances.

Cor, it's shaping up to be splendid this season isnt it? the strongest League line up we've probably ever had, most teams have spent mega cash, and Neil Warnocks fucked off!

if somebody else wants to set up a forum fantasy league, ill participate

i've already set one up, you tit! can at least one person join? it'll be a hollow victory if i end up first in a league entirely populated by myself. i've replaced king with campbell as king is always crocked and downing with petrov as downing usually puts in about 3 good performances all season.

i love the extracts from warnock's autobiography currently being serialised by the sun

"Some of my staff were invited into Steve Coppell's office after the game.

"Wally was in there, holding court. He was sitting in the manager's chair, stark naked other than his t-shirt.

"For the 15 minutes they were in there, all he could do was play with his b******s. That shows you the class of the man."

---

"Twenty minutes or so after the game had ended, Sharon and William were sitting in my office when the film actor, Sean Bean, who is a Sheffield United board director, burst in with his girlfriend.

"So Sean Bean started swearing at her and my five-year-old son. 'It's your f****** husband that got us relegated,' he said, pointing at her. 'He's a f****** w*****'.

"That's Sean Bean, the tough guy actor. Some kind of tough guy, eh, reducing a five-year-old kid and his mum to tears."

---

he also describes tevez as "Football's equivalent of a murderer out on bail."

i wouldn't mind being sworn at angrily by boromir

Do you think Warnock knows he's being a hypocrite now he's banging on about how you shouldn't swear in front of kids when during most games he was on the touchline bawling obscenities for 90 mins in a stadium full of people with some kids certainly within earshot?

ROTFLWAFFLES @ SeanBeanz

He's a complete dickhead, warnock. he was never off sky sports news last season, he was clearly angling for a media gig, but seemed to ignore the fact that no sod likes him. He's blamed West ham, Liverpool and ManYoo for them going down, despite the fact it was in their hands whether they went down or not.

i would rather west ham went down but yeah, sheff utd were just awful and definitely don't deserve to be in top flight football.

the money being thrown around is mental. i still think the top 4 will remain the same though. arsenal have been pretty good in preseason. van persie is going to be a monster this season, and eboue on the right of midfield has worked well so far. clichy has been amazing and eduardo was impressive on his debut. our defense was craaaaaaap against lazio last night but senderos and djourou never work together anyway.
man utd will probably win the league again especially if they get tevez which seems to finally be happening.

if arsenal get injuries for any sustained period of time, i reckon you'll end up 5th or 6th. think on

good so far for the geordies. get in.

i watched match of the day for the first time in a very long time last night.

it was exciting. reading fucked up big time. they could have beaten chelsea.

i bought fifa world cup 2002 on the gamecube for 98p today. it was either that or football manager 2007 for the pc for £10. maybe one day i'll get back into the champ man.

yes.
