I like too. It's really great that they've ditched Mick Jones and got Stephen Street in, Mick just propping a mic up in their general direction just wasn't working. It sounds much cleaner and full, Down In Albion suffered too much from a complete lack of quality control and this whole idea that being a wreck was the whole appeal of their band. The Libertines were a wreck but it was a really tightly controlled wreck, I always felt stuff from Babyshambles up until The Blinding EP was lazy, and at worst, outright tedious (Killamangiro '04 was GREAT but the re-recording turns it into the worst song on that fucking album)

But yeah generally, I like the two new songs from it. I'm really hoping there's something a bit bouncy like I Wish on the new LP, because I love that song.

Mik Whitnal wrote that song, it's my fave Shambles track. Ironically most of Pete's best tracks he never actually wrote.
