heskey isn't bad against average teams but he's still generally quite shit.

gareth barry was great. you just know lampard is going to come back in and be crap as usual though.

I've never rated Heskey but I thought he had two good games there. Made space for Owen and won a lot of knock downs so fair play to him.
It will be crime if Lampard gets back into the team any time soon.
Wright Philips and Richards played well too. For once we looked quite purposeful going forward and used a bit of width instead of punting the ball down the middle ALL of the time. And all of this without Beckham to bail us out of the shit with his set pieces.

I'm confident that not only will we win Euro 2008 but the next World Cup is as good as ours as well...................... Wink

im not looking forward to rios next euro wind ups. no offence to heskey or the bazmeister, but i cant see them getting that worked up about stuff
