On uknova is s3e4 of The Word, which has a drunk Oliver Reed, some punky band where the guitarist gets her minge out, and an interview with Bill Hicks!

TV has definitely gotten the worse.

Any interview with Bill Hicks makes me uncomfortable because even when he's being cooperative you can tell he's bubbling with contempt.

That punk band was L7.

I remember it well.

The Word was one of those shows you knew was being controversial for the sake of being controversial....they booked almost everyone who had a "difficult " reputation, but it was still excellent viewing.
I like Terry Christian a lot actually. His Room 101 is my favourite episode.

I'm not a big fan of the Christian, but do remember that Room 101 being a treat. Richard E Grant's was the best though.
