i lived with one his daughters and the other one dated an old band mate of mine for a while. i sent them my condolences.

i felt bad: we used to take the piss out of one of his daughters so much for who her dad was... i met him once at their house actually (not the one i was living in) and he looked half the man he used to be.

R.I.P. - I did love his programs in the 90s..
