Davina show suffers further decline

Davina McCall's new chat show sank to an audience low of 2.2 million at the end of its eight-week run on Wednesday night

Has anyone seen this and is it as bad as it sounds?

I have seen this story unfold over the last few weeks and the sudience figures have been going down constantly.

It's not surprising when you read this sentence ..

"Davina's guests included actor Richard Wilson, Big Brother star Jade Goody, EastEnders actress Kacey Ainsworth, and former newspaper editor Piers Morgan."

Yeah. Unmissable that one.

And while we're at it isn't Piers Morgan one of the biggest twats on God's earth? Discuss.

God, yes. Piers Morgan is an utter twat but he's almost redeemable for it because he seems to genuinely believe what he's saying is fine.

I've watched a bit of the Davina things and they're pretty dull. The main problem with her is that she clearly only exists because she's got that every-woman thing going on. I can't explain it but your very avarege woman just seems to love her frantic woman-ness. I don't like her and she stops being attractive after you look at her for more than five seconds.

Yeah. I know what you mean. I used to think she was ok, but I was never quite sure why she was on TV.

I don't hate her or anything but just don't see what the point of her being on TV is.

Didn't she used to be a comedian or singer or something? Where did she come from?

Nah, I think she just came through the ranks of TV tedium. You know, Live TV! and that sort of thing. Topless darts! I don't think she did that.

Yeah. She was a coke addled 'It Girl' type once I think.

There has been only one moment when McCall has made me feel a bit funny "down below" and that was when she was on Comic Relief once and appeared in some kind of red leather get up...she looked quite delightful in that (this was before she was knocking out babies on a regular basis).

Comic wasn't the only kind of relief I was getting at that point I can tell ya!

I don't know. I sort of like Piers, in a weird way. Did anyone see that programme he did where he spoke to celebrities, asking what made them celebrities, etc? It was quite good. Plus he made a grade A twat of himself on Have I Got News For You, which was great stuff.

Davina really gets on my tits. Shes not fit at all. Remember when one of the big brother contestants got evicted, and her whole "thing" was wearing a bikini around the house 24/7, and Davina greeted her eviction by wearing a bikini as well? She looked bloody horrible.

Yeah I saw that, she did look a bit anemic. Incidentally, that girl she was interviewing, Sam, has nudey pictures all over the Internet of her in the back of a car. She's a classssssssy lady.
