Haha, yeah, when my mum and nan used to tell me you could get the weeks shopping with a fiver and still have change left for a mars bar and the bus home, I was really impressed. Then I suddenly become aware of inflation, and got really pissed off at them for that. Sure, things were comparatively cheaper, BUT DON'T FUCKING MAKE OUT THAT MONEY HELD THE SAME VALUE, CUNTS. I dunno why that angered me. Still does. If my kid asks about old money I'll give the weeks shop and bus home story and then give him/her an economics text book. |
This is a prime lesson to learn in life: Money today is worth more than money tomorrow. So don't waste it - invest - INVEST!!!!
