It IS hard for me to not be a little bit pretentious about the Wilco. This is quite beautiful though. I love the little break of the tension at 5.20.

Really! Wow. Makes me feel a bit old. I was 13. It was my first ever concert. It was great. I wore a yellow cardigan, nasty grey flecked trousers, a skinny leather tie and blue deck shoes. How 1987 of me!!!
This is the second ever concert I went to:

Cyndi Lauper is a hell of a singer. I always really liked her actually. This performance is particularly amazing I think. A way better singer than Madonna was/is and better songs too.....

And I'd probably do her....even today..... _________________ "For all his horses, knighthoods and championships, he hasn't got two of what I've got. And I don't mean balls!" |

He did indeed. And he was amazing!
Pete Yorn also played a support slot and he was good too. His drummer was denied admission across the Canadian border and so Pete himself had to deputise on drums. _________________ "For all his horses, knighthoods and championships, he hasn't got two of what I've got. And I don't mean balls!" |

This song came up on my mp3 player shuffle today. Seemed quite appropriate as it's Mrs Chappo's last day at her job today and she's been a bit upset about it this morning.

I always liked INXS and saw them live a few times. I've heard good things about their new singer but I'm not really into the whole reality show way they went about finding him. It's a little bit desperate. Hutchence was a fantastic frontman and made the band really. They were really fucking great in concert. You can always find their albums cheap in second hand stores / bargain bins. If you come across 'The Swing' or 'Welcome To Wherever You Are' or "Full Moon, Dirty Hearts' they're worth spending a couple of quid on I'd say. _________________ "For all his horses, knighthoods and championships, he hasn't got two of what I've got. You're not alone in that actually. I got one of their albums for Xmas once and showed it to a good friend of the family's who is in a very high up job and supposedly very clever....even she pronounced it "INKS". _________________ "For all his horses, knighthoods and championships, he hasn't got two of what I've got.
