I had mine cut at a hairdressers, like a normal person.

it looks worse if it's combed, because you can tell what a bad cut it is. when it's a mess it doesn't look too bad, because it's just all over the place. it's sort of growing on me though, i think it was just the shock of having so much hair cut off. my nan said her mate was a hairdresser but what she meant is she used to cut her own childrens hair, so essentially she's about as qualified as you are.

fortunately my mum is a qualified hairdresser now so she should be able to salvage it, and she wants to highlight it too. i might just make myself look as moronic as possible for the period i'm abroad, so nobody will give me a job

i know. my parents think i'm going to settle down, get a job, make some friends over there and want to stay. my ticket has a return date on it and i fully intend to return! i gave my mum this ridiculous speech on the phone earlier, professing my love for england. my reasons for staying was something along the line of "i like waking up and turning on sky news. i like watching boris johnson on have i got news for you repeats. i like phil tufnell telling me about loans. i like having bath on saturday evening and settling into bed just as the match of the day theme tune starts" and so forth. i was quite emotional actually, but my argument lacked substance.

well last two haircuts i've had have been done myself, i have been wearing a hooded top both times, put the hood up, and just cut the long bits showing... people actually tell me it looks really nice (i then tell them how drunk i was each time i tried this)... and my girlfriends hairdresser even has my haircut as an example cut thingy on her wall... (for best results, tie rope round customers feet, and drag at high speed along the floor down oxford street, then rinse.)
