Some excellent stuff here. More DVDs than you can shake a stick at (some mindblowing stuff from 1967 and the Japan tour that I've recentley downloaded)

Beware you're bandwidth will be severely tested and you're PC will be left on for literally weeks at a time and your relationship with your loved ones will be compromised while you are "popping upstairs to check on my torrents" every 10 minutes :)

Anyway - you'll probably need an invite to join and I've got 13 to give away so let me know if you need one. And anyone else that wants one for that matter......

Chappo, I just saw a documentary on BBC Two about Lennon's conflict with the US government in the 70s. It was pretty good, lots of archive footage. Anyway, I thought I'd say since you might be able to get it off UKNova.

Probably the best SPLHCB bootleg ever. Not really much that I haven't previously heard here but it's nice to have it all pulled together in one collection (5 CDs) and the sound quality is AMAZING!!! As is the artwork which is included.

There are Purple Chick Deluxe Editions af all albums up to Sgt Pepper (so far..more to come) on Demonoid so search for them cos they're all worth having.

I've only heard a 30 second preview of it so it was hard for me to judge it.

Usually McCartney's singles are "growers" though and take a while to really sink in.

I'll have a look online and see if I can find it streamed somewhere. It's no use listening to the radio here and hoping to hear it because it's not "Hotel California"

Ohhh....just heard it via You Tube.

I love it actually. Infectious and quirky.

Can't wait for the album.

He always seems to produce his best work when he's up against it (the divorce etc...)

Mind you you're talking to someone who basically worships the man so even if I thought it was crap I would make excuses for him or pretend that I liked it. Confused

But I DO like it a lot!

Well bloody hell. Apple have contacted JPGRtorrents and have forced them to shut down their tracker. So no more Beatles and related bootlegs via that particular route. People are saying that it's because Apple have a new CEO and he is "getting tough"...speculation though.

I always think it's a bit of overkill on the part of record companies to act like this when it comes to trackers that only offer "non official" recordings. We all know that this stuff is available out there. Surely it's best to download it for free rather than go to a Record Fair and shell out 30 or 40 quid to some dodgy character who may have links to organised crime for all we know. What harm can it do to download a TV documentary from 1987 and burn it to a DVD for instance?

Also is anyone completely underwhelmed by the fact that The Beatles stuff is going to be available on iTunes soon? Who fucking cares? Oh yippie you can download a Beatles mp3!

Why don't Apple just do what people have been crying out for and fucking remaster the albums and put out the Let It Be DVD because the bootleggers are putting them to shame at the moment.

Get a grip.
