I don't wanna see a Scouser unless I'm in Liverpool or I get called up for jury service.

I don't like football anymore anyway, teams have sussed out how to beat Arsenal so it isn't worth the bother. I'm a basketball man now. NBA 2k7 on the Xbox 360, shabba!

So you got one, then? I'm still waiting for my ruddy HDTV!

I prefer 2K6 - probably why it's still more expensive than the newer version; I've re-built the Bulls' team: Shaq, Kobe, LeBron, Nash and Nowitzki! (When I say re-built, I mean I literally just swapped them over, but what does it matter?)

Have you been getting your dose of NBA Action on Sky Sports every Thursday?

I didn't realise there were any other Basketball fans on here? I want Cleveland's away jersey but my girlfriend said she'd leave me, even if I wore it over a plain white t-shirt and under a jacket. Sick of it!

Why do you want a HDTV? I can't see any difference between that and normal TV. I'm sure techy types can tell the difference but is it really worth it?

I haven't got my own but I just use my brother's whilst I'm here. The HDTV does make a big difference with the Xbox 360. I struggle to read the text on some games with my bro's crappy old telly. They are all optimised for HDTVs. Everything is a bit blurred and less shiny.

That Yao bloke is ridiculously large. I like playing as Phoenix. Nash is my favourite player, I'm hitting 3 pointers all over the court! I actually used to really like basketball when I was younger. I had an Orlando Magic shirt (That was when Shaq played for them) years ago. I don't quite understand all the rules but I'm getting there. The commentary on 2K7 is class too, EA obviously don't make an effort with Fifa.

Boncey - The new sig makes up for the avatar

I know what you mean with general television and it's definitely not worth £300 to buy the Sky HD box (plus £10 per month subscription) to get the most out of it but my mate's got a 32" HDTV and it looks like a totally different computer - it's definitely worth it for gaming.

There's an NBA exhibition match at the 02 Arena in October - Celtics versus Timberwolves, I think. The tickets aren't that expensive - I might just wait to see if they come to Manchester, though.
