Flickr isn't just for perving on girls.
House where they filmed The Young Ones just arond the corner from moi. Looks like my house too! And the laundrette in one episode is just down the road and looks exactly the same.

Nice. Going to have to get me some sour gummy bears on the way home now.
Where abouts is the Young Ones house then Dan? Bristol?
I did a bit of Flickr searching for photos of the fair city of Rochester.
Not very exciting.
This multistorey car park collapsed a few months ago and narrowly missed killing a few folk.
They tore the offending part of structure down
The "world famous" House Of Guitars, part guitar shop, part record shop..all mess...
Brewery of the local piss water...
Cute dog...in Rochester...
Aerial view
Bridge round the corner from our house..
Nothing to do with Rochester......(it's not me btw)

Haha, that record shop looks amazing!
Yeah, it's in south Bristol (Young Ones)
The wiki page for my little area is suprisingly detailed!
The happiest times of my life were spent there playing football. I lost my ball in the gardens of those houses countless times.
This is a church on my road. Which is called Church Road!
Local book shop down the road, it's really lovely in there especially in winter.
Look at all that. Bristol is so drab it hurts. |

It doesn't look drab to me. It looks oddly comforting. Mrs Chappo would go bonkers in that bookshop....so would I for that matter.
Since I last visited England they have torn down my old secondary school (Long Eaton School). Some bloke has got a couple of flickr albums dedicated to it.
Its quite sad really, a bit like that easter egg on the Fawlty Towers dvds where they show the hotel after it had been ravaged by fire.
Pretty horrible old architecture really. This is "lower school". I went here from age 11. Bit of a Grange Hill feel.
Libraries gave us power.
I nicked a "Paul McCartney & Wings" picture book from here. I've still got it !
Chemistry lab where the fledgling Chappo learned his trade. lol
How nobody got killed on these stairs is beyond me. I had my bag thrown down the middle of this flight of stairs several time...
Jumpers for goalposts, cross country runs and nervous showers.....
RIP. It's all flattened now and they're building houses on the site according to my Mum. _________________ "For all his horses, knighthoods and championships, he hasn't got two of what I've got. And I don't mean balls!" |

Your school really looks like my secondary school! They knocked tha down the year after I left and built a nice new one. But it really was an utter state.
Funnily enough, there doesn't seem to be ANY pictures of the old school anywhere. I can find one grainy CCTV picture but that's it. I find that a bit weird, it's like they're trying to erase it from history. Which wouldn't be suprising.
My primary school was in this village that was so unbelievably quaint and pleasant, it's no wonder I don't really feel like I left the womb until I was 11.

It looks like an episode of Last Of The Summer Wine without the old folks! :) Very nice though.
That is the stereotypical English village where Americans think we all live (or lived). Mrs Chappo wants us to retire to the English countryside actually. She's been watching too much "As Time Goes By" and "On The Up" I think.
Moving away from the school theme
This....
....is the Toronto "entertainment" establishment my Uncle took me too and bought me a lapdance at a few years ago _________________ "For all his horses, knighthoods and championships, he hasn't got two of what I've got. And I don't mean balls!" |

Bristol looks really nice! Very picturesque.
There doesn't seen to be many pictures of my old town.
Train station I used to go to school and back for 7 years. It was only five minutes from my house.
The local 'treaty centre' - I'm sure it looks the same in every other town.
You could get chips and a burger all for a quid in here!
Now that I think about it, we did have an awful lot of train stations... This was the worst one.
The local bingo hall.
I should be on the tourist board. _________________ Carlton Palmer doing his impression of a man with brain damage |

| Haha, bloody hell Hounslow looks bleak. I've got restored faith in Bristol (but to be fair, the pictures above are not really representitive) |

It isn't very nice but some parts are better than others. The surrounding towns aren't much better though. There really aren't many pictures though especially considering it's in London. Although as the man that captioned the picture of Hounslow West said, you don't want to get your camera out for too long there.
I was just googling a Morris quote and this was about the 8th result
