Gola is still around. Infact, I was suprised to hear it's fashionable now, I remember that anybody wearing a Gola tracksuit or trainers would have the piss taken out of them.

(I called them slammers)

I remember those pogs - I have those very ones. I'm not just saying that by the way. Also, Tazos.

I used to have Gola Football boots Embarassed as I required them for school - however, (not being a footie fan) I only wore them once.

Talking of crisps, nobody ever remembers the Looney Tunes printed crisps.

i had a pair of lottos, as worn by ruud gullit. Gazza was massive at the time, physically and in terms of exposure. i supported lazio (goooooooooooalllazzzzzzzzzzziooooo-ooo-oo) and watched sunday italian footy purely because of him. James richardson, what a legend, and a role model for us all, in terms of croissants and reading papers.

I remember the tazos. Fugees - the score was my first album purchased, as well as morning glory. listened to the fugees once, then the oasis forever after that. Remember a little thing called cassette?

Easter was good at our school too, being C of E. we got a little chocolate cornflake nest, with mini eggs on the top, and a plastic furry bird. remember the tranny game dan? horrendous.

woolworths pick and mix. Nigel Mansell winnig back to back world championships in F1 and IndyCar. He never got the credit he deserved for the indy car one. Shouldve won the indy 500, but he buggered it up, and fittipaldi took him over, and andretti, the nonce.

I remember at my primary school when we used to have fruit at morning break, and there used to be a special 'fruit bin' where you'd put your leftovers. Once, one of the bigger boys pushed the bin over and the fruit went everywhere - of cause, he ran away, and I got the blame and had to put on rubber gloves and clear it all up.

oh god, i remember i was mad keen on robin hood for a bit, i went to nottingham castle and sherwood forest. both a massive disappointment looking back, but at the time i thought it was the coolest thing. The castle was just a ruin basically, and the forest was just, well, trees. but they were weird trees, thin and not very foliagy (is that a word?). Robin wouldve been knackered if he tried to sneak up on the baddies. Still, got a bloody good robin hood suit ( i have pictures, that nobody will ever see) complete with bow and arrow.
Octomus Prime, i nearly cried when i thought he was gonna die. The stupid metal bastard.

I remember when the Internet was invented around 1998, and we all got to use it at school for the first time. We could go on any website we wanted - cartoons and street webcams were popular if I remember. Confused

fruit bin, we had a similar thing. Were you only allowed to write in pen in year 4? we had to write in thick fucking pencil until y2 then a smaller hb, then we got to write in fountain pen, but only if our hand writing was good. Needless to say, the dyslexics never got to write in pen. Wonder if they ever will?

Encarta was massive for a bit, really good program though. remember watching a sex video in yr 5, a few of uslaughed out heads off, and got in trouble for it! i managed to sdave myself by asking a serious question 'why do babies have massive heads when theyre born?' or something to that effect, and i got away with it. The smile was quickly wiped from my stupid face though, when i saw the birth tape. fucking hell.
