i'm gonna go back to the metal gear, i think. i can't deny my roots and i've started listening to it again recently. i think i'm destined to burn down a church, or at the very least start a small fire in an atmospheric forest

i dont think it costs very much actually, theres loads of places and weirdly always in train stations. Theres one in Kingston train station and one called boosty and smudge or something in Wimbledon station, but that a bit of a trek. Got some heels fixed in the Kingston one I dont think it was more than fifteen pounds.

i had them done yesterday. the first shop charged 20 quid and i refused, and then the second one (which was more like a cabin, very manly) charged 18 and i sheepishly handed them over. he said 45 minutes to an hour and 45 minutes i came back and he said "5 minutes mate" and then i watched him do both shoes. he just stapled some rubber onto them. what was the 45 minute wait for?

I always get my shoes resoled after the soles are fucked after about four or five months after buying them. I generally pay £100 for a new pair every six months as the resoling only gives the shoes a maximum of two months extra life.

my feet and knee are so fucked up i now take painkillers, 'joint care' tablets and liquor daily to numb it. shoud i got to the doctor?
