i'd get so scared and bored living alone! net year the plan is vaguely to move into a big house of about 5 to 8 people, which i dont think i can handle anymore. apparently a massive divde happens between the cleanies and the messies.

what'sa the matter you!

i started my new job today. in the same company but upstairs, and better money. i've got dual screens now. never gonna use 'em. i'm already bored. not sure why i took this job when the whole office vibe bores the shit out of me. it's further to the canteen/smoking area now as well, and i've got to walk past literally everybody to get to either the stairs of elevator. i'm dreading seeing my old team again because last week i said goodbye for what i thought was forever. i'm going to look like bloody stupid.

after i went all donald mcintyre on his arse things simmered down. my light is being fixed on thursday. that's only taken 2 weeks.

i literally haven't done anything today. they gave me a laptop and i've spent the entire time on the internet. i had a jacket potato earlier and ate the skin. it's not bad!

And in my experience...those first few days are usually slow going, and then they throw a sh*t-ton on ya...or....not....I don't really know what the hell I'm talking about. I don't know if anyone's noticed that yet over the past, what, like 5-6 years on here??

nah, not programming. i don't have any qualifications and no real skills on computer other than the stuff you pick up when your childhood consists of gaming, so i'm quite a fast typer and that's really it. people here are under the impression i'm handy with computers and i'm not sure why. they've given me two laptops to work with and i'm copying huge pdf files off of one, and using this one to kill the downtime inbetween transferring. i have absolutely no idea what i'm doing on this project despite being run through it twice. i regret taking on another role here so, so much. it's going to take at least a month as well. the other laptop keeps on stopping reading the disc half way through transferring about 200 big pdf files so it doesn't complete and then i have to find out which ones transferred and didn't, and make sure they're complete files. they've all got names like 2342134 443434 222323 223333 so it's just so confusing. i haven't even started on the spreadsheet which is supposed to link these tens of thousands of ship plans and electronic drawings. this is the most boring thing ever (after 'reading this post')

oh god i think i'm going to end it all now.

some bloke opposite me has a black screen with loads of green text over it moving at an insane rate. i think he's mucking around with the matrix.
