It's always nice to get something for free isn't it?

Before Xmas Mrs Chappo ordered a 41 DVD boxed set of "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." for her Dad's present. the DVDs cost $250 and she paid extra to get it delvered in time for Christmas. Well Christmas came and went and there was no sign of the DVDs. So as soon as Xmas was over Mrs Chappo got on the blower to the company and asked them where it was. They gave her a tracking number and told her to check with the delivery company. So she did and they said that the DVDs were recorded as being successfully delivered on Xmas Eve. Cue us searching around the outside of the house to see if it had been left anywhere and we just hadn't found it. We found nothing. So it was back on the blower to the company (who were very helpful it must be said) who told her the parcel was obviously lost and that they would send a replacement set out immediately. Two days later we recieve the parcel and Mrs Chappo's Dad gets his belated Xmas gift. Sorted!

Then two days after that we get ANOTHER parcel in the post which is the same DVD set that we ordered. We pondered a bit what to do, just keep it or call the company and let them know that we had been sent two DVD sets now. In the end we decided to call them up because they had been so good in their dealings with us. Mrs Chappo called them and they told us just to keep the extra DVD set at no cost! So now we have a set of our own. $250 worth! It's a really nice boxed set too, they're going for about $325 on eBay. And the actual show is worth watching too. So we did pretty good out of the deal.

Not really relevant to anything I know....i was just bored and wanted to type something really....
